What power source do I need?

The PAL+BT comes with a USB-C to USB-C charging cable. Simply connect this cable to a USB-C PD compatible charger that is capable of delivering minimum 2.5 Watts and a maximum of 20 Watts. For the fastest charging, use a 20 Watt charger capable of delivering 9V / 2.2A.

How do I search for radio stations?

To find radio stations, simply turn the tuning knob clockwise for higher frequency, counter-clockwise for a lower frequency.

How do I make radio presets?

To save a preset, turn the radio on and find your desired station. Once you’re on the signal, press and hold the Preset button located on the remote control until you see “Preset Added” on the display. You can save up to 5 presets with the remote control.

You can also access the Preset Store menu by double pressing the Tune knob, and using the knob to scroll through available presets. Single press again to store the presets. You can save up to 10 presets using the Preset Store menu.

How can I see my saved presets?

Your preset station will be indicated by a “P1-10” icon when it is tuned.

Alternatively, single press the Tuning knob to access the Preset Store menu. Use the knob to scroll through your saved presets and single press to select.

How can I change my FM scan settings?

Press and hold the Menu/Select button on your remote until you see System appear on the display. Turn the Source knob till you see Scan Settings appear on the display. Press the Source button once. Turn the knob to select if you want to scan to all stations or only strong station signals. Press the source button to make your selection. Repeat this process to change it back.

If the PAL+BT is relocated to a different area, some stations may no longer be available. It is recommended that you run a full scan whenever you relocate the radio, even into different areas of your home. To run a full scan, enter DAB mode and press the menu button on the remote control to enter the main menu. Select Full Scan. To cancel the scan, press the back button on the remote.

How can I brighten or dim my display?

Press and hold the Menu/Select button on your remote until System appears on the display. Press the Source button once. “Backlight” will show on the display. Press the Source button once. You can now turn the Source knob to the left to lower the brightness or the right to raise the brightness.

How do I connect to Bluetooth?

Make sure your PAL+BT is turned on and in Bluetooth source. Next, press and hold the Tune knob to enter pairing mode. Open the Bluetooth settings on your smart device and look for the “Tivoli PAL+BT3|xxxxx”. Select this to pair. You’ll hear a chiming noise once the connection is complete. You’ll only need to follow this process once. After you’ve paired for the first time, you’ll see the PAL+BT listed in your Bluetooth devices every time it’s turned on in Bluetooth mode.

I hear some static in BT mode.

When pairing with Bluetooth, make sure the volume on your smart device (phone, tablet, laptop) is set no higher than 75%. This will prevent any static or feedback noise.

I’m unable to pair via BT.

Start by turning your PAL+BT off, and then on again. Press the Source knob to enter BT mode. Press and hold the Tune/Scan/Preset knob to enter pairing mode. Next, turn the BT on your smart device off and then on again. Now look for the PAL+BT in your list of available devices.

Can I factory reset my unit?

Yes. Press and hold the Menu/Select button till you see “Scan Setting” on the display. Use the arrows to navigate to the “Settings” menu, press the Menu/Select button once to confirm. Use the arrows until you see Factory Reset on the display. Press the Menu/Select to confirm.

Can I play the PAL+BT while it’s charging?

Yes! You can use the PAL+BT while it’s charging. Please note that the batteries may charge more slowly while the PAL BT is in use.

Can I connect my PAL+BT to other speakers?

The PAL+BT is designed to be a standalone speaker. It is not intended to be used with other speakers.

How long does the battery last?

The average battery life is 12 hours on a single charge. Please note this can change depending on your music source and volume.

Is this waterproof?

The PAL+BT is water resistant, but not waterproof. Take it to the pool, but don’t throw it in.

How do I change the battery?

The rechargeable battery does not need to be changed, only recharged.
